Spring Has Arrived
I love that as Missourians we get to experience each of the seasons - winter, spring, summer, fall. I look forward to each one and truly enjoy the variety of weather and landscapes that each season brings. But, I think spring is my favorite. The landscape greens as plants start to come alive, colorful displays of flowers pop up, birds are chirping. . .
Spring-time fills me with a sense of renewal and rebirth.
This year, that renewal and rebirth feels more pronounced than ever before. In the wake of vaccinations and a simple longing for normalcy, people seem to be taking spring’s lead. It’s flowing over to everyday life.
And, our work at LifeBridge is no exception!
In March, we provided clients 551.75 hours of in-person support services and 285 transportation trips. To put that into perspective, after reopening for in-person services in July 2020, we provided an average of 93.31 hours and 84 trips each month from July to February. Of course, we are providing virtual programming opportunities, too!
During the past year, our staff has done an incredible job implementing virtual programming, planning community outings, and safely getting our clients back out and about in the community. I can hardly wait to see what the summer, fall, and winter brings!
