Fall Season Approaches

With the school year officially underway, the air will soon turn crisp and the leaves will begin to change. I find this to be one of the most exciting times of the year—fall! The back-to-school season brings fresh starts, new friendships, sports and tons of activities. There's an undeniable sense of renewal and opportunity, especially for our participants. Our youth and adult participants with disabilities have ample opportunities to further develop their independence, engage with others socially, and find a sense of belonging within their community.

For some, this time of year can feel like a whirlwind of adjustments: navigating new classrooms, getting accustomed to different routines, and checking out new community activities. Our team will partner with participants and their families to ensure they can take advantage of the many fall activities our community offers.

Fall is a season that naturally invites us to pause and enjoy the beauty around us. Whether it's apple picking, walking through pumpkin patches, or taking part in community harvest festivals, there are so many ways to embrace the season. It’s also a perfect time for our programs to shine, as we create safe, inclusive, and exciting opportunities for participants to engage with nature, get active, and build friendships. We’re excited about the fun fall-themed activities and outings we have planned over the next few months!
